The super talented Rasmus Norlander has updated his home on the internet with some interesting shots of the new Soccer City Stadium (FNB Stadium) in Johannesburg, which is being built for the 2010 World Cup.

High up on my wish list this week, is this box set freshly released to commemorate Warp Records 20th anniversary. The set was beautifully designed by Yes in collaboration with the talented photographic skills of Dan Holdsworth.

Rosson Crow is a Texan born artists now working in L.A. Her work is based on decadent interiors, hotels, saloons bars and Lounges. I love the vivid colours and expressive use of the paint.
Fantastic portraits of apes and monkeys from Jill Greenberg. Loving the way she captures the mood and expression of the subject in the same way you would a human model.
The work of Adam Rix is very impressive and with 30 industry awards who could argue! I especially love his work for gola, such vibrant colours just makes me want to go out and buy a pair! Have a scan through his site it’s full of gems.
Nice bit of geeky graphic design fun here from Huw Gwilliam, who has taken a range of iconic album covers and reproduced them in the classic penguin style. It’s kind of in the same vain as the video game titles adapted into book covers featured on hr earlier in the year.

Grant Hamilton has managed to put a bit of a twist on the monumental cleche that is polaroid photography. I’m enjoying the combinations of pattern and colour evident in his work, as well as his uses of combinations of photos.
Loving the weird and wonderful paintings of Léopold Rabus, some of the blurred faces and uncomfortable poses remind me of the work of Francis Bacon, very strong and shockingly beautiful.

Being a massive boxing fan, I instantly loved Scott MacDonald’s Tyson85 zine. I want a copy.
Reminds me of the NoMas edition of Frank151 that featured the comic illustrated by Mickey Duzyj
