The amazing otherworldy photography of Milo Keller & Julien Gallico.

I’m loving this music video created for The Dead Pirates by 2D & 3D maestro Simon, and the skilled illustrator mcbess.

Dave MacDowell paints acrylic on canvas. His style mixes childhood fantasy with western contemporary cultural, to create surreal compositions that are both well crafted and humorous.

Swiss-born graphic designer Daniel Baer sent over his portfolio. His work includes an array of beautifully crafted typography alongside some wise format choices. Most notably, Baer is also the art director of award winning bi-annual photography magazine 8.

A Kind of Magic depicts the natural iridescent colours you see when light catches a clear soap bubble. As seen through the camera lens of Bogdan Chesaru, a vibrant scenery of shapes and patterns, swirling and dancing on the edge of time, arouse both the eye and mind with a sensation of spatial elasticity. Driven by a strong minimalist impulse, the artists work places a new twist on that created by Jazon Tozer in his Bubbles series.

CONTAINER designed these lovely examples of minimal packaging for Kevin Murphy, which includes a quirky cap placement.

The talented Patrick Fry got in touch to let us know that he has updated his portfolio. Interestingly, he has just created some work for the world famous beat boxer – Beardyman. Well worth checking out.

I’m not going to tell you what FLARE is, instead please make the jump and view this marvelous Berlin based creation for yourself. Absolutely stunning.

Jules Julien has produced some of the loveliest vector illustrations that I have ever seen. I am particularly keen on the artists use of an ultra soft colour palette along with a strong attention to detail.

On this day 29 years ago, John Peel announced “Ian Curtis, of Joy Division, has just died.”
In that same week Joy Division’s most celebrated single, Love Will Tear Us Apart Again was due to be released on the album Unknown Pleasures, which is one of my top 5 albums. All this happened before my time I can see just what a huge lost and an awesome inspiration Curtis was and still is. The extremely powerful film, Control by Anton Corbijn, follows Curtis from his school days until his final days, is well worth a look. Corbijn was also responsible for most of the early photographs of Curtis and his band.

Human Resources regular Hellovon has just launched a new website of his work, designed by Darren Firth.
